30/12/2011 i don't use sky broadband now owing to their inept service and scam 0844 numbers cost me loads.still have their tv only now can't live without that.
30/03/2011 The annoying thing is that you have to be a TV subscriber to have anything else, so I'd have to be sold on a TV deal before even considering the rest. Additionally, there are so many options and extras that it can seem a complicated process and you might finish up paying much more than you expected.
27/12/2010 My SKY broadband speed is hopelessly slow and after 8 months of complaints the techy admitted the service was poor and nothing could be done to improve it.
11/06/2010 I've never had a problem with the actual sky engineers, installers or sales people. But technical support? forget it! I had to repeat the same process 5 times over three hours with 5 different engineers ... "sorry sir, but there is protocol" really got to me in the end. But worst was the utter lies by technical support staff. They think we are all idiots. I spent more than 10 mins saying that the port he wanted me to check did not exist on the box I'd been given. I was basically called "stupid" ... I know what a hole looks like! When the engineer was finally booked he told me that I had been sent out an old-style box which doesn't have that port so he swapped it over.
